We are a New Zealand owned company, based in New Zealand and all prices listed are in New Zealand dollars and include 15% gst.

Flowers On Pollen does not store or process any Credit Card information.

The following terms and conditions apply to the access and use of the Flowers on Pollen website. By accessing and using this site you are deemed to be in agreement with the following terms.

The contents of this website are the copyright of Flowers on Pollen. You may view and print content off this site provided it is for your own personal informational non-commercial purposes.

While Flowers on Pollen only provides the information on, or accessed through this site , on an "as is" basis. Flowers on Pollen has made every effort to ensure that the infomation on this site is current, accurate and complete but does not accept liability for any error or omission.  All warranties, whether expressed or implied, as to the accuracy or completeness of the information contained on this website, or in repect of any products or materials referred to on this website, are excluded to the extent permitted by law.

We will not be liable for damages losses or expenses or indirect losses or consequential damages of any kind, suffered or incurred by you in connection with your access to or use of this site or the information in or products accessed through it.

Substitution

We reserve the right to substitute a product of equivalent value where a listed product is unavailable.  When making substitutions we don't call the sender as this could delay the order from being delivered on the requested date.

Seasonal conditions affect the supply and quality of flowers. Specific varieties or colours may not always be available or meet our quality standards. In some cases substitutions may be necessary to fulfill your floral arrangement.  Choosing the right flowers is a very important and emotional statement. We will pay close attention to design elements such as size, style, colour, balance and shape when a subsitition is necessary.  If we are out of a particular decorative element such as a vase, basket or ceramic container, a similar one of equal or greater value will be used.

Flowers are sent fresh, therefore may arrive tight in bud, and can look different to the photo on our website, which may or may not show flowers in fuller bloom.

Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your order once it has been placed we are more than happy to offer a full refund back to your credit card (less a $10 administration charge).  We are unable to offer a refund if the flowers have already been made up and/or dispatched on courier.

Deliveries

We delivery in Thames on a daily basis. Orders must be received by 2pm to guarantee delivery in the Thames Township.  For areas out of Thames Township please feel free to give us a call to double check if same day is possible.  Many main town areas are possible same day if you order is received by 12pm and couriers will deliver up to 7pm depending of their delivery volume.  Please remember we are only a small town and we do not have the frequent delivery/courier runs that large towns/cities have. If your order is received after the cut off for the area you wish to send to,we reserve the right to send on the next available service if we are unable to contact you before your order needs to be made/boxed and picked up by the courier.

We do service some very rural areas and whilst delivery is often possible, same day generally is not. Many orders are required to be boxed for transport and require an overnight service.  If an address is too far from the main road/highway the customer may be left a request in their letter box to collect from their nearest holding post.

In the highly unlikely event that your flowers are not recieved, please contact us within 48 hours so we can investigate your order.

In the case of the wrong address being suppled, we are more than willing to redeliver your order providing you pay all costs associated with re-delivery prior to doing so. As the customer, you  must make sure that the recipient will be at the location on the date given on the order for delivery.  Flowers/gifts do not need to be signed for on delivery and will be left at the address if no one is home in the safest place deemed appropriate by the person delivering your package. Where possible in the shade and out of sight.  If access to the address is not possible due to gated premises or animals, flowers may be returned to base and you as the customer will be chraged for any additional delivery costs which must be settled before re-delivery.

To avoid delay with your order, if you select the incorrect delivery charge when using our checkout, we reserve the right to charge your account the additional amount with out confirmation.

No Sunday delivery service (with the exception of Mothers day and Valentines day when they fall on a Sunday, and only in the Thames township, an additional fee for Saturday and Sunday deliveries applys)

Saturday delivery: Please call to be sure 07 868 9891     There is a limited Saturday delivery service available and this is an overngiht service so any orders must be received by 2pm Friday.

Marae: Marae have cultural protocol that must be respected. Ourselves and couriers are unable to simply "walk onto" the premises to deliver flowers. Someone will need to be available to receive flowers at the entrance of the Marae grounds.

Church and Funeral Homes: Deliveries must include the name of the deceased to ensure delivery to the correct service. In order to fulfill your neccessary delivery time, 24 hours notice is recommended.

Couriers: We are the largest Florist on the Coromandel Peninsula and the only Florist in Thames. We service a rather vast and often very Rural area for our customers. Outside of the Thames township we rely on the services of external courier companies to deliver on your behalf. Though that said, as we are often unable to leave the shop to run our deliveries locally, we will invest in the services of couriers around town as well. As courier loads vary from day to day we are unable to give an accurate time for delivery. We offer a morning and afternoon delivery where possible and expect residential deliveries be made by 7pm and business addresses by 5pm, provided orders are received on time.

All of our deliveries are packed in cardboard boxes, with soft packaging around them. They have a clear cellophane top so it is clear that flowers are inside. This is for the benefit of our customers and couriers alike. Any flowers that are not in a Vox Box or Floral Foam will be packed in wet tissue to ensure freshness during transportation.

Returns

We do not offer returns on perishable items. These items include Fresh Flower and Food items.  Any queries must be made within 7 days of dispatch.

Privacy Policy

Flowers on Pollen will only use information you provide us and will not share customer details with any 3rd party unless necessary to do so in order to provide you with our products and services or where we are legally required to do so.

We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

Our records will hold only your name, address, phone number, email address and previous orders.  If you provide us with feedback, reviews or comments, we may include these on our website with your first name, town and country.

If you subscribe to our E-newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time.  Personal information collected for the above purposes will be retained by Flowers on Pollen in its database. You have the right under the Privacy Act 1993 to access any personal information held about you and to correct or delete such information from Flowers on Pollen database. You can do this by emailing us.

We use your IP address and browser information to help gather broad demographic information. Portions of our site use cookies to keep track of your shopping cart, where applicable. 

You must take your own steps to ensure that the process, which you employ for accessing this site, does not expose you to the risk of viruses or other forms of interference, which may damage your computer system arising out of or relating to your use of this site or any linked site.

Any information, which you transmit to us, is transmitted through a secure internet system, all reasonable steps to ensure that this information is secure have been taken but we cannot warrant all information will be secure at all times.

All intellectual property rights in this site (including copyright in all text, graphics, logos software and icons) are owned by or licensed to Flowers on Pollen. Except as expressly authorized by us you may not, in any means, copy, adapt, store, distribute or reproduce any part of this site without the written permission of Flowers on Pollen.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
